The St. Louis Blues wasted no time in Game 3.

Pavel Buchnevich scored a pair of early goals en route to a hat-trick, and Cam Fowler notched five points as the Blues throttled the Jets, 7-2, to cut their series deficit to 2-1.

St. Louis will try to even things up in Game 4 on Sunday afternoon.

Winnipeg is a slight -126 favorite on the road.

Jets vs. Blues Game 4 betting preview

This series has been a terrific watch. Both the Jets and Blues are happy to play a physical, unrelenting game, giving this best-of-7 an old-school feel.

Both rosters are built similarly, with heaps of talent at the top and effective role players to fill out the bottom six.

Winnipeg should have a goaltending edge with Connor Hellebuyck going up against Jordan Binnington, but we know the latter has as high a ceiling as any netminder in the league when it comes to big moments.

Both goaltenders probably want a few goals back in this series, but neither has been the story, for better or worse, yet.

The series scoreline feels fair, with Winnipeg boasting the better 5-on-5 numbers through the first 120 minutes of this series.

The Jets and Blues have basically split the shot attempts at even strength, but Winnipeg has created more high-danger scoring chances and expected goals.

Not by a whopping margin, but enough that you could argue that this is a deserved lead for them in the series.

Jets vs. Blues Game 4 pick

The Blues have been impressive in this series, but it does feel like Winnipeg has taken their best shot and was able to come away with a 2-1 lead through three games.

The Jets, even without Gabriel Vilardi and Nikolaj Ehlers, have another level to get to, especially if Hellebuyck begins to make more of an impact in goal.

Winnipeg is a deserving favorite for Game 4, and the current price seems reasonable enough for a play.

The Play: Jets -130 or better
