The Masters kicks off Thursday.

Niemann, with just two career PGA Tour wins and no major titles, isn’t as sexy of a pick as Koepka, but he’s playing better golf right now.

The 26-year-old Chilean has won two LIV Golf tournaments this year and has three top-five finishes. Niemann has yet to place worse than 35th in 2025.

Koepka has outplayed Niemann just once this year — at last week’s LIV Golf Miami, which is a mere warm-up for The Masters.

Niemann has been solid at Augusta throughout his career, making the cut four out of five starts while finishing top-25 in the past two tournaments.

Despite some impressive finishes, Koepka has been shaky more often than not at The Masters, missing the cut in 2021 and 2022 and finishing T-45 last year.
