Can Canada add a massive upset again Argentina to continue their Copa America run?

Canada has shockingly advanced to the semifinals by playing an excellent defensive style that has bottled up opponents, while helping them get on the counterattack.

But make no mistake, Argentina is a massive favorite because they are a powerhouse and far more talented than Canada.

Argentina has played excellent defense in its own right, allowing one goal in the Copa America Tournament, and that was a penalty kick against Ecuador.

This match marks five straight Copa America semifinals appearances for Argentina and they’ve remained undefeated in nine straight matches.

Canada did what the United States Men’s National Team could not as the only remaining CONCACAF team in the Copa America.

Jesse Marsch’s group has played very well, and they could make it a tough night for Argentina.

However, Lionel Messi stands on the other side and if Argentina gets ahead, the Canadians will have a nearly impossible task ahead of them to mount a comeback.

Canada has really struggled on offense while attempting to play a counterattacking style, and falling behind is nearly a death sentence for that style.

This would be their undoing in the semifinal, should it shake that way.

These two teams squared off during group play and Argentina soundly defeated Canada, 2-0, with both goals coming in the second half.
