We are back with another breakdown of Dana White’s Contender Series, with predictions and betting picks for two fights on this MMA circuit tonight.

The biggest favorite on the card comes in at -600 in Nurullo Aliev, who should dominate his opponent, Josh Wick, with his Khabib-style grappling. Wick could win moments on the feet, but Aliev should score an easy victory. He is a fine parlay builder, which you will see paired below.

Furthermore, there was an extensive list of props for these fights listed on BetRivers and Bet365 at the time of writing, and nearly every sportsbook has moneyline bets available. Props may continue to be rolled out on sports betting apps throughout the day. Always shop for the best line, and let’s cash some tickets.

Dana White’s Contender Series predictions today

Brunno Ferreira (-240) vs. Leon Aliu (+200)

The main event is a middleweight bout between two heavy hitters as Brunno Ferreira battles Leon Aliu.

Tapology ranks Ferreira as the No. 2 middleweight coming out of Brazil, one of the most competitive MMA regions in the world. Aliu will be coming in from Italy with a 10-1 record; all of his wins have come via stoppage.

Both of these fighters are coming in looking to make a statement, and a finish is extremely likely. Aliu was a sizable underdog when he knocked out James Webb in Cage Warriors. There is some slight concern for the favorite Ferreira as he’s a bit undersized at just 5’10 for middleweight. His ideal weight class might be at welterweight with a proper nutritionist.

Regardless, the ‘Under’ 1.5 rounds prop is likely the play here. Feel free to parlay a safer bet on this fight, ‘Under’ 2.5 rounds (-280), with Aliev (-610) to get a comfy -175 value spot, too.

DWCS pick No. 1

‘Under 1.5 rounds -135 (BetRivers) | parlay with Aliev

Raul Rosas Jr. and Mando Gutierrez face off Zuffa LLC Raul Rosas Jr. and Mando Gutierrez face off Zuffa LLC

Raul Rosas Jr. (-160) vs. Mando Gutierrez (+135)

The youngest fighter to ever get a chance on Dana White’s Contender Series goes to Raul Rosas Jr., 17, who hopes to earn a contract tonight. Rosas comes in as the favorite as a grappling prodigy, previously competing at 145 pounds and 155 pounds on the jiu-jitsu circuit.

Per ESPN, Rosas will have a three-inch height advantage, so this is a good fight for Rosas to get his feet wet at the highest level.

If he were to have a size disadvantage, there could be a worry that Gutierrez is more developed physically. Expect the youngster Rosas to get this win by submission and earn a UFC contract. This could be early in round one or the second round, but Rosas has some nasty grappling at his disposal.

DWCS pick No. 2

Raul Rosas Jr. wins inside the distance +125 (Bet365) | ML -160 (Caesars)
