Dave Portnoy wants his “hard earned” $120,000 back.

The controversial Barstool Sports founder, known as El Prez, is fuming after he lost his $120,000 wager on ESPN Bet – formerly known as Barstool Sportsbook – on the Bengals to cover as four-point underdogs Thursday against the Ravens.

His beef is that the Bengals did not disclose a potential hand/wrist injury for Joe Burrow, which loomed large when Burrow exited the game late in the first half with a right (throwing hand) wrist sprain.

The Ravens then cruised to a 34-20 victory.

“I’m filing a class action lawsuit against the Bengals and NFL for lying about the injury report,” Portnoy tweeted Friday. “There is no shot I put 100k hard earned dollars on the Bengals if I knew Joe Burrow was injured going into the game. This committee owes me an apology!”

While Portnoy might be joking about filing suit, his overall point is a valid one that even the NFL is looking into.

The NFL is investigating whether the Bengals did not reveal a potential Burrow injury after he was shown arriving in Baltimore with what appeared to be a brace on his throwing hand.

Teams are supposed to disclose potential injuries – remember how Tom Brady was questionable for his essentially entire career? – but Burrow wasn’t on the injury report leading into the game.

That kind of information can influence the betting markets, especially for a quarterback and a top-tier one such as Burrow.

Portnoy first provided a screenshot of his $120,000 ESPN BET wager on the Bengals to cover at 7:33 p.m. with bomb emojis, and he would have grossed roughly $229,100 with a cover.

After Burrow exited the game, Portnoy went on a rant.

He tweeted at 10:54 “This bet wasn’t fair” and at 2:19 a.m. he quote tweeted a tweet showcasing the object on Burrow’s hand with: “ALL BETS REFUNDED!!!”

At 9:50 a.m. Friday, he again voiced his displeasure.

“REFUND ALL BETS!!!!!,” Portnoy tweeted. “You can’t do this in a legalized gambling world.   “REFUND ALL BETS!!!! JAIL FOR EVERYBODY.”

We’re fairly certain everyone will not be going to jail – unless this is Boraqua.

Portnoy first tweeted about the class action lawsuit at 12:02, and then quote tweeted a Pro Football Talk post on the topic by saying: “CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT @nflcommish.”

While Portnoy hopes for a refund and maybe even his day in court, other ESPN Bet users enjoyed refunds if they wagered on a boosted prop involving Burrow.
