The San Francisco Giants have amassed the best record in MLB this season with a lot of players who aren’t household names having career years, and Logan Webb will look to continue his magnificent stretch against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday.

Webb has allowed just three home runs in 39 road innings this season. He has given up two runs or fewer in each of his past eight starts, posting a 1.76 ERA with two walks per nine innings. The Giants are 8-0 in those starts.

Brewers starter Corbin Burnes is 3-4 at home, but the All-Star has given up just one home run in 57¹/₃ innings in Milwaukee with a 2.51 ERA and .209 opponents batting average. Both bullpens are in the top seven in ERA the past 30 days and top nine for the season.

With the Giants entering Thursday having allowed three runs or fewer in nine of their past 11 road games and the Brewers having allowed three runs or fewer in nine of their last 12 games, expect a lot of scoreless innings to be brewed in Milwaukee on Friday.

The play: Giants-Brewers total, Under 7 runs.
