The next major player in the sports betting industry just launched across the United States.
In a free-to-play capacity, Betr will be the first direct-to-consumer micro-betting-focused platform. Micro-betting refers simply to wagers you can make on something to happen in a sporting event that does not directly involve the final outcomes of the game.
This is going to be an app that focuses solely on the nitty-gritty aspects of games. In baseball, bettors will be able to bet on every pitch in an at-bat or every possession in an NFL or NBA game.
Typical spread, moneyline, and total bets won’t be available here. Instead, bet on the Golden State Warriors to hit a three-pointer on their next possession or on the Los Angeles Lakers, Russell Westbrook or LeBron James to turn the ball over the next time down the floor.
