After bursting out to a 14-3 record through mid-January, Kentucky has been a .500 team ever since.

Despite their shaky play, the Wildcats are being priced like a powerhouse when they take on Oklahoma during the second round of the SEC Tournament

Last time these two teams faced off less than a month ago, the Wildcats barely squeaked by, winning 83-82 thanks to a go-ahead layup from Otega Oweh with six seconds left.

I think we could be headed for a repeat.

Oklahoma vs. Kentucky SEC Tournament prediction

Now, Oklahoma hasn’t been much better during SEC play, going 6-12, but they’ve been solid of late, winning four of six, with both their losses coming by a single bucket, including the loss to Kentucky.

The Wildcats are already all but in the NCAA Tournament, but the Sooners may need some help, giving them some extra motivation in Thursday night’s contest.

Betting on College Basketball?

Kentucky doesn’t deserve to be such a heavy favorite – look for Oklahoma to keep this one close.
