Josh Hart had a tough Thanksgiving. 

The New York Knicks wing spent the off day the same way millions of Americans did: betting on sports. 

“Parlays about to go crazy today,” Hart wrote on X on Thursday afternoon. 

Later that night, Hart filled his followers in on how his card was looking. 

“Update…..I’m 0/6,” Hart wrote. 

Hart in all likelihood was watching his hometown Washington Commanders during the NFL’s Turkey Day action – and definitely lost any money placed on them.

The Commanders were blown out, 45-10, by the Dallas Cowboys, dropping their record to 4-8 and extending the team’s losing streak to three. 

Head coach Ron Rivera proceeded to fire defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio and defensive backs coach Brent Vieselmeyer on Friday. 

“I’ve told you before I’m not worried about anything,” Rivera, whose job security is on shaky ground as well, said after the game. “All I’m going to do is do my job and see how things go. That’s the only thing I can do.”

On the flip side, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones ranked Thursday’s game — which included an epic halftime performance from Dolly Parton — as one of the best during his stewardship.

“I don’t know that I’ve had a day like this. And I’ll include them all, I’ll put Super Bowls in there, I don’t know if I’ve ever had a better day with the Cowboys than today,” Jones said, according to ESPN’s Ed Werder.

While he didn’t find much success wagering, Hart is at least enjoying prosperity on the hardwood. 

New York is currently 8-6 and tied with the Indiana Pacers for the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

Hart has played in all 14 games, averaging 7.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists heading into Friday’s playoffs rematch against the Heat.
