Missouri, under coach Cuonzo Martin, went from ranking 10th in the preseason SEC Poll to ranked 10th nationally in the AP Poll, and will look to keep its strong season going on Wednesday in Oxford against Ole Miss.

The Rebels have been a tough team to score on this season, rating 18th in the country in points allowed on a per possession basis and give up an average of just 59.7 points per game at home.

Both teams rank outside the top 300 in

3-point shooting percentage as neither converts more than 30 percent of their outside shots and just 12 teams shoot worse from beyond the arc than Ole Miss.

Ole Miss is 15th in the country in steals per possession on defense while Missouri averages 3.5 fewer turnovers per game in road games as opposed to home games and have given up 68 points or fewer in five of their seven true road games.

Both teams’ lack of outside shooting coupled with Ole Miss having five of its top seven scorers converting less than 66 percent of their free throws and Missouri having 4.4 of their shots blocked per game, tied for the 12th most of any Division I team, Wednesday’s tilt figures to have a lack of scoring with both defenses taking center stage.

The Play: Missouri vs. Ole Miss, Total Under 133 points.
