In two seasons under coach Kenny Atkinson, the Nets have won just 48 games. Going on history it seems like a monumental task for the Nets to put a 33 in the wins column, but this would be the season to do it. D’Angelo Russell and Allen Crabbe form an athletic tandem in the backcourt and Russell is fully healthy entering the season. The team has adequate depth as well, with Caris LeVert and Spencer Dinwiddie providing a scoring punch off of the pine.

What will work against the Nets will be the loaded division in which they reside. Regularly facing off with Philadelphia, Boston and Toronto will make any wager on the Over a sweat, but the team will still get to meet the remainder of the Eastern Conference. Expect the Nets to win more than 32 games this season, but don’t expect it to be easy.

The play: Nets Over 32¹/₂ wins (William Hill).
