The betting market usually points you in the right direction for the NFL draft.

Although odds swing wildly in the weeks leading up to the event, by the time we get to draft day the dust has usually settled enough that we have a clear picture of how the first handful of picks will shake out.

But there are always a couple of outliers, and the New York Jets, who hold the No. 7 pick Thursday, seem to be one of the few teams in the top 10 that the market is having trouble reading.

With the draft roughly seven hours away, Tyler Warren, a tight end out of Penn State, is now the betting favorite to go No. 7.

It isn’t rare that oddsmakers and punters get less confident with each passing pick, but it is a little surprising to see the odds movement around the seventh pick, considering where things stood just a few days ago.

On Tuesday, the Jets were -110 at BetMGM Sportsbook to land Armand Membou, an offensive tackle out of Missouri, with their first selection in the draft.

Gang Green was also -150 to take an offensive lineman with their initial pick. 

Christian Cippollini, the senior trading manager at BetMGM, told the Post earlier in the week that his team had a good read on where the Jets were going by the action that was coming in on the pick.

But things seem to be shifting now, and it’s got as much to do with what’s happening ahead of the Jets than what they’ll be thinking.

A few days ago, it seemed likely that the Jacksonville Jaguars were going to select EDGE Mason Graham with the fifth pick, leaving Ashton Jeanty to be selected by the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 6. 

Now, the overwhelming favorite to go No. 5 overall is Jeanty (perhaps to the Bears via trade with the Jaguars), meaning the Raiders would need to pivot, most likely to an offensive lineman.

That has caused plenty of mock drafters to adjust their projections, which has, in turn, caused the odds related to the Jets’ pick to shift.

Warren now has +185 odds to land with the Jets, slightly ahead of Membou at +225.

Mason Graham has the third-shortest odds at +425.
