After another wild week of close finishes and significant quarterback moves across the league, we’re (unofficially) at the one-quarter mark of this young NFL season. And the divisional races are finally starting to take shape.
Following Sunday, seven of the eight divisions have a prohibitive favorite at BetMGM, though only three of them are led by a team priced at -200 or shorter to win. That signals a ton of value across the board on early leaders at decent prices or speculative long shots that have gotten off to compelling starts.
With that said, here are three teams we’re targeting in the divisional market after the first four weeks:

Eagles to win NFC East (-350)
I’m not usually one to lay this short of a price on a futures bet, particularly not with 13 games left to go. But I’d be absolutely shocked if the Eagles didn’t run away with this division.
Philly has looked like the class of the NFC and perhaps the entire league through the first four games of the season, ripping off its first 4-0 start since 2004 and only its sixth in franchise history. Jalen Hurts looks like a bona fide MVP candidate, ranking fifth in passing yards (1,120) and 25th in rushing yards (205) among all players, while this staunch Eagles O-line has powered one of the most explosive all-around rushing attacks in the league.
Also, who else is winning it? The Cowboys are still without starter Dak Prescott and have looked pedestrian regardless of who’s under center. The Giants’ 3-1 start has come against one of the easiest schedules in the league, while the Commanders can’t find a spark amid their 1-3 start. It’ll take a lot for any of those three to upend Philadelphia, which may not surrender its division lead all season.

Trevor Lawrence Getty ImagesJaguars to win AFC South (+175)
It’s hard not to be impressed with the Jaguars after a 2-2 start to the season that includes blowout wins over the Colts and Chargers and a narrow loss to the undefeated Eagles on Sunday.
That only came after quarterback Trevor Lawrence lost four fumbles in the slippery conditions at Lincoln Financial Field — becoming the first player to do that this century. He still ranks 11th in QBR (58.9), by far the best in the division, and I wouldn’t expect such a turnover-plagued effort from the sophomore star down the stretch.
Even after Sunday’s loss, Jacksonville still ranks fourth in DVOA as of Monday, well ahead of the Titans (20th), Texans (31st), and Colts (32nd). This is the worst division in football, and the Jaguars finally have the talent and competent coaching to take advantage.
Ravens to win AFC North (-105)
There are two ways to look at the Ravens’ start to the season, which has included two blown leads of 17-plus points in the last three weeks: there’s a lot of work to do, and the ceiling is as high as ever.
Baltimore thoroughly dominated the majority of its games against the Dolphins and Bills, but late collapses in both contests have the Ravens staring at a 2-2 record. Both losses are concerning, but I don’t expect one of the most aggressive rushing teams we’ve ever seen to continue to blow late leads across an entire season.
Lamar Jackson Getty ImagesThis division is also theirs for the taking. The Bengals clearly have issues to work through offensively after a storybook 2021 campaign; the Browns are toothless until Deshaun Watson makes his debut later this year; and the Steelers are already making QB changes four weeks into the season. Baltimore isn’t perfect, but it’s by far the most talented group in this division and should gain on its division mates over the easier part of its schedule.
