We posted our second straight 1-1 record on the NFL last week, and we love a pair of road teams who don’t seem to be getting enough respect from the betting market. Here are our best bets for Week 3:

Baltimore Ravens (-3) over NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

I just don’t see what oddsmakers see in these Patriots, who feel like a lousy squad masquerading as a decent one. Sure, it’s a scary proposition fading Bill Belichick as a home underdog, but he’s just 2-2 ATS in that spot without Tom Brady and presides over one of the least inspiring rosters in his 23-year tenure.

The Ravens, meanwhile, looked like a title-level squad through the first seven quarters of the season before their young secondary fell apart late in last week’s loss to the Dolphins. I’d expect a resilient effort after such an epic collapse — the last four teams to lose after entering the fourth quarter with a 21-point lead or better went 4-0 ATS in their following game, outscoring their next opponent by 14 points per contest.

Jacksonville Jaguars (+7) over LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

I’ve got a funny feeling about this game, which doesn’t seem to be drawing much attention from oddsmakers despite Justin Herbert (ribs) carrying a questionable tag into Sunday.

The Chargers have been particularly mum about their star quarterback’s status, which makes me think his lingering injury is a bigger deal than this line would suggest. Even if Herbert plays through the pain, the Jaguars have the talent to keep pace. This was on full display in their dominant win over the Colts. There’s just too much value to ignore at this number.

Last week: 1-1. Bengals (L), Patriots-Steelers Under (W)
Season: 2-2.
