On Saturday, for the first time since Thanksgiving, Baylor allowed more than 63 points in its game against Oklahoma State, but still got the win and cover. On Monday, the Bears get the other Big 12 team from the state in the Oklahoma Sooners as they look to keep a 14-game win streak going.

For the Sooners, they enter into Monday 110th in the country in points on a per-possession basis and have exceeded 72 points once in their five conference games thus far.

The Sooners have been efficient with the little things, ranking seventh in opponents’ free throws per game and fourth in turnovers per possession. With Baylor ranking 259th in terms of possessions per game and Oklahoma ranking 69th in the country in defensive-rebound rate compared to the Bears who are 162nd, they should have more overall chances to score.

Baylor has gone 11-5 against the spread this season, but just 4-4 at home, likely due to the Bears being a team that hangs their hat on defense to go along with their slow tempo. The Bears are sixth in the country in fewest points allowed on a per possession basis and are 45th in points per possession on the offensive end.

With Oklahoma being a team that does a good job of not beating itself and Baylor being a team that plays lower scoring games, it creates a good recipe for the Sooners to stay in the game and cover the number.

The Play: Oklahoma +11
