He has given up just one home run and is holding opponents to a .196 batting average across 25 ²/₃ innings to go with a 1.40 ERA. In five road starts, he has a .277 batting average against and 5.65 ERA.

The Red Sox are second in MLB in batting average, but are hitting .245 on the road as compared to .277 at home. They give up more than double the amount of home runs per game (1.05 on the road, 0.48 at Fenway Park).

With Nola having pitched at least six innings in all but one of his home starts this season and Boston starter Martin Perez having not pitched a full six innings on the road, the Phillies have the edge in a matchup that involves a pair of teams in the bottom half of the league in bullpen ERA the past 30 days.
