Last season saw Dane Dunning make his MLB debut for the Chicago White Sox and he will be pitching in Chicago on Friday, only this time facing the White Sox as a member of the Texas Rangers.

Dunning has gotten the job done in his three starts this season, posting a 1-0 record with a 0.60 ERA with just two walks and one home run allowed in 15 innings and while with the White Sox last season, went 1-0 with a 3.72 ERA in four starts in Chicago.

He will be opposed by Dylan Cease, who despite a 1.493 WHIP and issuing 5.8 walks per nine innings in 15 starts dating back to the start of the 2020 season, has a 5-4 record with a 3.98 ERA to go with a 5.87 Fielding Independent in that same time frame.

The Rangers have been able to get their offense going on the road, averaging 5.4 runs per game away from Arlington compared to a league-low 2.1 at home while the White Sox have similar splits, averaging 3.8 runs per game at home and 5.5 on the road.

With both teams having bottom-10 bullpen ERAs and the Rangers getting Willie Calhoun and Brock Holt back in the lineup in the past seven days, the Rangers should help Dunning get revenge on his old team.

The play: Rangers Moneyline
