The Colorado Rockies are out of the NL pennant race because of an 18-50 road record, but they have the third-best home winning percentage of all NL teams and will look to cool down the hot Atlanta Braves on Saturday in Denver.

The Braves entered Friday 20-9 since July 31, despite having Ian Anderson on the injured list for nearly 45 days. In his first start back on Aug. 29, he pitched 5 ²/₃ scoreless innings in a win over the Giants.

Anderson faces Rockies ace German Marquez, who has been significantly better at home than on the road. He’s 8-2 with a 3.13 ERA at Coors Field, with opponents hitting .200 with 0.7 home runs per nine innings. On the road, his ERA climbs to 5.37 with opponents hitting .270 with 1.5 home runs per nine innings.

The Braves entered Friday having allowed at least four runs in seven of their last nine games. The Rockies lead MLB in home batting average at .286 and have scored 5.9 runs per game in Denver, so Colorado’s success at Coors Field will continue Saturday.
