Chiefs pour purple Gatorade after winning Super Bowl 2023

By Jeremy Layton

It was purple rain on the Chiefs sideline after winning Super Bowl 2023 over the Eagles, 38-35.

The winning Gatorade pour was purple, cashing a long shot +900 ticket for those who wagered pregame on the color.

Super Bowl 2023 bettor close to massive parlay payout

By Jeremy Layton

One lucky Super Bowl bettor could be close to a massive payday.

A sharp FanDuel bettor put in a four-leg same-game parlay for $350 with the following legs: A.J. Brown anytime touchdown, Isiah Pacheco anytime TD, Jalen Hurts 2+ touchdowns, and Travis Kelce 2+ TDs.

A second Travis Kelce TD away from cashing a $15K TD's parlay 😳

Would you take the $3.1K cash out or let it ride?

Through three quarters, the first three legs had hit – and Travis Kelce just needed one more touchdown to complete the SGP.

FanDuel offered the bettor a $3,176 cash out. It's unclear if the individual took the money or let the bet ride.

Nick Bolton moving up odds board to be Super Bowl 2023 MVP

By Jeremy Layton

Entering the game as the longest of long shots to win Super Bowl MVP, Nick Bolton is currently +5000 to win the prestigious award at BetMGM.

The linebacker picked up a Jalen Hurts fumble in the first half and ran it back for a touchdown, bringing the score to 14-14. Later, he picked up what appeared to be another fumble and ran it back for a possible second touchdown – though the play was ruled an incomplete pass.

50/1 is still a long shot, but the 22-year-old is certainly making his case to be the game's most valuable player.

Rob Gronkowski misses 'Kick of Destiny' for FanDuel at Super Bowl

By Jeremy Layton

Rob Gronkowski's "Kick of Destiny" went wide left.

FanDuel's Super Bowl promotion offered users a share of $10 million in free bets if Gronkowski, the former Patriots and Buccaneers tight end, hit a live field goal.

Unfortunately, Gronk pushed the field goal just to the left.

The commercial still promised FanDuel users that they still "won" at the end of the commercial even though he missed the kick, however, telling them to check their accounts on Monday.

Super Bowl 2023 bettor puts down $1.2 million bet

By Jeremy Layton

Someone is either going to win a lot of money tonight ... or have a rough morning tomorrow.

A Super Bowl 2023 live bettor put a $1.2 million bet on the live over of 62.5 total points at Caesars Sportsbook, according to Action Network.

As of halfway through the third quarter, the Eagles and Chiefs had combined for 45 points, with the score sitting at 24-21.

Eagles stand as seven-point favorites at halftime of Super Bowl 2023

By Jeremy Layton

After taking a 10-point lead in the first half, the Eagles are currently seven-point favorites on the live line as the second half is set to begin.

Kansas City opened halftime as 7.5-point underdogs, but money came in, causing Philadelphia to settle as seven-point favorites at Caesars Sportsbook.

At FanDuel, you can still get Chiefs +7.5, but juiced to -140.

Rihanna opens halftime show with 'B--ch Better Have My Money'

By Jeremy Layton

If you bet +800 for Rihanna to open her halftime show with the 2015 hit "B--ch Better Have My Money," you are the winner.

The song, which was released as a single, was the fifth favorite on the offshore markets to be the halftime show opener.

"Don't Stop The Music" was the favorite, dealing at +150.

A.J. Brown hits passing yards over in first half of Super Bowl 2023

By Jeremy Layton

It took less than half of the game for Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown to hit his receiving yards prop.

Coming into the game with a receiving yards over/under of 72.5 yards on FanDuel, Brown caught a 19-yard pass with under a minute left in the game to reach 74 yards, surpassing his pregame receiving yards prop. He had previously 45 yard touchdown on the first play of the second quarter.

At the half, his live receiving total is 96.5 yards, with FanDuel offering a -118 price on the over.

We would suggest a small sprinkle on the over, as even a hobbled Patrick Mahomes should be able to stick in the game and move the ball, putting pressure on the Eagles to continue to throw.

Bad beat alert: Pour one out for Kenneth Gainwell first TD bettors

By Jeremy Layton

If you bet on Kenneth Gainwell to score the first touchdown, we are sorry.

Gainwell appeared to score the first TD of the game, which would have cashed a huge ticket at +2200 for those who backed the Eagles' backup running back. But on a second look, he was down by contact before the goal line, and the touchdown was taken off the board.

Instead, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts scored the game's first points.

Bad beat alert: Eagles score TD on first play of second quarter

By Jeremy Layton

If you had the Eagles to win on the first quarter moneyline, you missed it by that much.

Philadelphia scored a touchdown on the very first play of the second quarter, with Eagles QB Jalen Hurts connecting on a touchdown bomb to star wide receiver A.J. Brown to take the lead, 14-7.

But don't tell those who took the Eagles to win the first quarter, as the touchdown pass was one play late. Philadelphia was -115 to lead after Q1 at BetMGM.

Chiefs' Harrison Butker hits upright to keep game tied 7-7

By Jeremy Layton

Eagles first quarter bettors remained alive after Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker missed a 42-yard field goal to keep Super Bowl 2023 tied at 7-7, kicking the football off the left upright.

Barstool Sportsbook bettors had the option to bet that a kick would hit the upright or crossbar, offering the wager at a price of +475.

Prop of the day. Let’s doink it up @BSSportsbookpic.twitter.com/fk4QzwrXzZ

— Hank Lockwood (@hen_ease) February 12, 2023

It took less than a quarter for a kicker to have a bonafide Super Bowl "doink."

The first quarter ended tied at 7-7, meaning 1Q moneyline bettors will get their stake back.

Jalen Hurts scores first touchdown for Eagles

By Jeremy Layton

Jalen Hurts scored the first touchdown of Super Bowl 2023, cashing for those who had a +700 ticket on the Eagles quarterback.

The Eagles lead the Chiefs, 7-0.
