The Chicago White Sox own the best home ERA in the league and will look to keep it low against the Indians, which are tied with the Oakland Athletics for the worst batting average in the American League.

The White Sox send Lance Lynn to the mound. He has yet to allow an earned run in two starts and has struck out 17 batters in 13 ²/₃ innings this season.

The Indians will look to Aaron Civale, who in 14 starts since the beginning of the 2020 season, has issued 1.9 walks per nine innings with a 6-6 record and a 4.36 ERA.

Civale is backed up by a bullpen that is fifth in the league in ERA with a 2.84. Cleveland also entered Wednesday having allowed four runs or fewer in eight straight games.

The White Sox bullpen leads the league with 12.2 strikeouts per nine innings and the Indians have been struggling at the plate, so runs will be at a premium in the AL Central showdown.

The play: Indians vs White Sox, Under 8 runs.
