Winnipeg was exasperated after Saturday’s 20-17 loss to the BC Lions, in which the Blue Bombers coughed up a 17-point lead in the second half to continue a frustrating pattern of alternating wins and losses.
Blue Bombers QB Matt Nichols had maybe his worst game in several years, with no TD passes and three interceptions. It’s rare to see Nichols play that poorly in a game, let alone have two bad games in a row, so I would expect to see a bounce-back effort from what is still a very dynamic and explosive Winnipeg offense.
The play: Winnipeg has dominated this series recently, going 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings against Toronto. Take Winnipeg, -2.
