IRVING Azoff, meet Jeff Archuleta.

Oh yeah- and his son, David.

American Idol” favorite David Archuleta has inked a deal with Azoff Management, the brains behind musical powerhouses including Christina Aguilera, Neil Diamond and The Eagles.

The deal, however, comes with some baggage: Archuleta’s dad, Jeff, who’ll act as co-manager with Azoff Management’s Jared Paul, according to ew.com.

That could become a little, well, dicey, since fans of “Idol” will remember that Jeff Archuleta came off as somewhat controlling of his son last season.

In one instance, he forced David to change the lyrics to “Stand By Me” to include some words from Sean Kingston’s song, “Beautiful Girls”-despite being told by Fox, repeatedly, not to do this.

Jeff Archuleta’s behavior and antics eventually earned him a backstage banishment from “Idol.”

David Archuleta is still under contract to 19 Entertainment, which is overseeing his first album, due in stores Nov. 11.
