Swift victory

Ever since she was interrupted by Kanye West at the MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor Swift has been the music industry It girl. We’ll see how well she does at this year’s Grammy Awards, where she’ll compete for Album of the Year and Record of the Year, and six other awards. Swift’s competition, in various categories, is stiff: Beyonce, Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas and the Dave Matthews Band, among others. The Grammy Awards did really well in the ratings last year and this year’s roster of presenters and performers includes Justin Bieber, Jeff Bridges, Jonas Brothers, Ricky Martin, Carlos Santana and Ringo Starr.
