Simon Cowell’s fiancée says the pair is still engaged — “as far as I know.”

Makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy, who got engaged to Cowell earlier this year, shot down rumors the couple were on the rocks when she flew to Barbados to join Cowell for a Christmas vacation.

Rumors that the couple might split up were rampant after they spent most of the year apart, with Cowell in the UK (working on “The X Factor,” among other things) and Hussainy in LA.

“I still love him, and he says he still loves me and we are still engaged — as far as I know,” Hussainy told reporters.

The rumors heated up when Cowell flew to Barbados last week without Hussainy — but with his ex-girlfriend, Sinitta, according to reports.

But she’s now joined him at the island’s Sandy Lane resort.

Cowell will launch the US version of “The X Factor” on Fox next September. He still hasn’t chosen his judges for the show — with names including Mick Jagger, Noel Gallagher, Cheryl Cole and Nicole Scherzinger from The Pussycat Dolls being bandied about.
