Fox top spot
Fox News Channel is moving on up — to the first row.
After weeks of wrangling, the White House Correspondents’ Association yesterday gave Helen Thomas’ seat in the West Wing briefing room to Fox News.
Several news organizations, including Bloomberg News Service and NPR, had been fighting over the much-coveted spot vacated last June when Thomas was pushed into retirement following controversial remarks she made about Jews and Israel.
