Show begins at approx. 9:25 PM, recommended time to arrive is 7 p.m. when entrances to the FDR will be open to pedestrians.

There will be prime viewing on both sides of the East River from Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn.

Watercraft Viewing

The Coast Guard has established safety zones from 9:20pm to 9:50pm for boaters to safely view the fireworks. For detailed information the Coast Guard has set up a hot line for boaters with specific rules to follow. (212) 494-5243.

Do’s and Don’ts:

Viewers will not be allowed on the Queensboro Bridge.

No viewing will be allowed from the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge or the Williamsburg Bridge.

Roosevelt Island is not considered as a viewing area as it is private property.

Take public transportation.

Bring a pillow, blanket, folding chairs and some water and snacks.
