Rock-‘n’-roll biker nurse Amanda Overmyer was eliminated from “American Idol” last night.

Overmyer, 23, who many fans believe had overstayed her welcome, was a breath of fresh air when she auditioned in Atlanta. Her Janis Joplin vibe and skunk-dyed hair positioned her for the role of “rocker chick” for Season Seven.

Last night, she told host Ryan Seacrest, who called her “fearless,” that “it’s been quite a run. This is more then anything I could ever expect.”
