CNN anchor John King, whose 6 p.m. show was axed last June, says you needn’t bother watching his network in the morning anymore.

“If you watch CNN, I’m not picking on anybody, but if you watch CNN nine o’clock in the morning, 10, 11, 12 o’clock — it’s the same,” King told an audience at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library recently.

“It’s a single anchor, sitting in a chair, reading headlines that none of you have to turn on your TV to get — because you can get them here,” he said, holding up two cell phones.”
