Larry King and CNN are officially splitsville.

The network said yesterday that it was ending its promised four-times-a-year Larry King specials that were supposed to air after he was pushed out of his nightly interview show in December 2010.

King had done a few specials — one on Alzheimer’s disease and an interview with Johnny Depp.

But CNN had trouble making room in prime time for new specials during this election year and has ended the deal.
