It is official — “Dancing With the Stars” dancers Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are changing their Facebook status to “in a relationship.”

Dashing Maks, who has a long history of dating women from the hit show, was rumored to be coupling up with Peta last May just as the season was ending.

Then, Wednesday night, the couple appeared together on the red carpet at a film festival opening in LA and told reporters that they were an item.

Maks was engaged to another dancer on the show — Karina Smirnoff — in 2009.
