IN a summer crammed with an abundance of reality shows, Tyra Banks has pulled off the near impossible – a hit reality show on UPN.

Blessed with solid ratings, the sultry supermodel landed a second season of her show “America’s Next Top Model” yesterday.

Since its premiere after the finale of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Top Model” has given UPN’s ratings a shot in the arm with several key demographics.

On the show 12 wannabe models live together in a luxurious New York penthouse while attending modeling events and beauty competitions pitting them against each other.

The winner snags a big-bucks Revlon contract and a photo spread in Marie Claire.

“A lot of people thought I was just going to be this vanity producer, just a figure head,” Banks recently told The Post. “But I’m extremely involved with everything that the models do, all the way down to the lighting.”
