In order to revitalize “Daybreak’s” flagging ratings, Fuller decides to bring on legendary TV anchor Mike Pomeroy, played by Harrison Ford. But Pomeroy’s not interested in covering fluffy morning show topics and begins feuding with his co-anchor, a longtime morning show host played by Diane Keaton.
