Naya Rivera will be featured on Season 3 of Netflix’s “Sugar Rush,” which may be her final television appearance.

The “Glee” star filmed an episode of the show as a guest judge in February, before the coronavirus pandemic began and subsequent filming was shut down. The episode of “Sugar Rush” is reportedly the last thing she shot in Hollywood, according to Deadline.

Rivera, 33, drowned in Lake Piru, north of Los Angeles, earlier this month while on a boat trip with her 4-year-old son, Josey. She died saving her son, but couldn’t save herself, according to authorities.

After a debate between Netflix and Rivera’s manager, the decision was made to continue the production of the episode, which will be dedicated to her.

Season 3 — titled “Extra Sweet” — of the extreme baking competition series is set to premiere Friday on the streaming platform.
