Along with crooning “American Idol” contestants, another sweet sound the Fox talent show’s new judge will be hearing soon are wedding bells.

Kara DioGuardi, who appears on the show for the first tonight has been off the market since Dec. 8, when her fiance, Mike McCuddy, a contractor from Maine, popped the question during a trip to Mexico.

“No wedding date has been planned,” the rep for DioGuardi said.

DioGuardi is 38, and McCuddy, a 34-year-old school teacher-turned-general contractor has a son from a previous relationship.

DioGuardi told The Post last week that she had been clashing with judge Simon Cowell during her first few weeks on the job.

“I would get a vibe [from Simon], I could tell when he was irritated. I didn’t always understand the way he did his thing, how he rolls out his schtick,” she said.
