OPRAH Winfrey has found a president for her new TV network – but she’s still searching for a CEO.

Robin Schwartz has been hired as president of The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), launching later next year in conjunction with Discovery.

OWN will replace Discovery Health in the second half of 2009.

As president of Regency Television – a joint venture between New Regency Films and Fox TV Studios, Schwartz helped develop shows including “Bernie Mac” and “Malcolm in the Middle.”

Schwartz begins her new job July 14 and will report to OWN’s CEO, who has yet to be hired.

Before joining Regency, Schwartz was programming VP at ABC Family.
