Rock star Prince is finally coming out of his shell.

First, he performed on the “American Idol” finale last May; now it appears he will be the headline act for the Super Bowl halftime show, according to reports.

It will be the first Super Bowl for CBS since the infamous Janet Jackson appeatance in 2004.

Cirque de Soliel is said to be the pregame performer, the Web site sportsbtbrooks reports.

The Super Bowl this season will be in Miami.
