Regis Philbin will be kicking up his heels again soon.

The 78-year-old “Live! With Regis and Kelly” star had hip-replacement surgery yesterday and expects to be back yukking it up on the daytime talk show early next month following an expected four-to-six week recovery period.

“Word from the hospital is that everything went perfectly this morning,” reads a statement from “Live!”
