Clayton is sent to fix a situation involving one of their attorneys (Tom Wilkinson) who has gone off his meds at a crucial time in a giant suit against their client, a pesticide conglomerate. Then things get really nasty.

Steve McQueen, the coolest man who ever lived, plays the coolest cop ever in this story about a detective assigned to guard a Mafia informant. This is the movie that re-imagined the car chase — and directors since have been trying to one-up that scene. With Robert Vaughn as an ambitious politician.
