Super Bowl-winning quarterback Kurt Warner will compete on the next season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” the Washington Post reported Tuesday.

Warner, 39, would be the first former NFL quarterback to appear on the show. Other current or former NFL players that have competed include Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, Jason Taylor and Chad Ochocinco.

Warner announced his retirement from the Arizona Cardinals in January, capping a 12-year NFL career.
