A Trump in the road

Donald Trump and NBC are casting about for prospective contestants for “The Apprentice” – although for which season of the show remains shrouded in an impenetrable cloud of ultra-secrecy.

The second season of “The Apprentice” is already in the can, so The Donald and Mark Burnett Productions will be taking their act on the road – including a stop here – to recruit contestants for the unspecified season.

The “Apprentice” road show will be at Trump Tower (where else?) on Friday, July 30 at 9 a.m. (725 Fifth Ave.). Candidates must be legally eligible to work/live in the U.S. and must be at least 21.

Trump will be in L.A. next Friday at Universal Studios; in Miami Beach (July 16) at Nautica Condominiums; in Boston (July 17) at the Seaport Hotel; and in Philly (July 23) at Loews Philadelphia Hotel.

Last but not least:

* Sunday: “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace has an exclusive sit down interview with Paul Bremer, former U.S. Civil Administrator in Iraq (10 a.m./Ch. 5).

* Deborah Cox will serenade the couple getting married live today on KISS-FM’s “Wake Up Club” (6-10 a.m./ 98.7 FM) as part of TLC’s “A Wedding Story.” The wedding and Cox’s performance air in September on TLC.

* The official name of David E. Kelley’s “The Practice” spinoff is now “Boston Legal.” It had been tentatively called “Fleet Street.”

* WE’s “She House” series returns Saturday, July 10 (10 p.m.) – this time with a home designed entirely for a woman on an acre of land in Aquebogue (Long Island).

* Kathleen Turner and Frank McCourt join author/essayist Roger Rosenblatt in the Ch. 21 studios Wednesday as the station airs “Roger Rosenblatt’s Rules for Aging” (7:30 p.m.).

* Righting a wrongo: Chris Vlastos is “Primetime Live’s” new senior producer overseeing its investigative unit. This is not the guy you want to cheese off. He knows people.
