Remember “Someone Like Me”? Neither do I, but it’s that 1994 NBC series whose record was shattered Monday with the debut of “Medium.” The new series, starring Patricia Arquette as a woman who sees dead people, averaged 16.1 million viewers at 10 p.m. to become NBC’s highest-rated Monday series premiere since, well, “Someone Like Me” – which starred Gaby Hoffman and future “Everybody Loves Raymond” star Patricia Heaton and lasted for one month.

“Medium” also snared NBC’s highest ratings for a drama series premiere since “Ed” in 2000 and increased its “Las Vegas” lead-in by 3 million viewers. NBC will re-air the “Medium” premiere tomorrow at 10 p.m. (Ch. 4).

Former FX public relations VP Steven Webster was slapped with a fine, and probation, for spying on his former employer from July 2001 through Jan. 2004. Intrepid Post reporter David K. Li reports that Webster – who listened in on internal Fox teleconferences, then leaked confidential business info to various trade publications – received three years probation and was ordered to pay $22,607 in restitution to Fox.

Last, but not least:

* Karen Hepp, late of Ch. 4, joins Ch. 5 as a week end co-anchor (6, 10 p.m.).

* Because you just needed to know: Carnie Wilson reveals the sex of her baby – only on tonight’s “ET”!

* GSN honors the late Jerry Orbach this weekend (3:30-5 a.m. Friday-Sunday) with episodes of “What’s My Line?” and “Jeopardy!” on which he appeared over the years.

* Jan. 12: Celebrity stylist John Ottavino (Deborah Norville, Jules Asner) reveals his “Celebrity Makeup Secrets” at the 92nd Street Y’s MAKOR Center (W. 67th).

* Dave Price guests on “Guiding Light” Jan. 14 as the fictional TV host of “Unsolvable Mysteries,” which, as you no doubt already know, is searching for Phillip Spaulding’s murderer.

* My vote for the most irritating voiceover narration in recent memory: “Desperate Housewives.” Sing-songy and annoying.

* The Producers: Congrats to “Jimmy Kimmel Live” co-executive producer Jason Schrift and his wife, “Ellen” producer Melissa Geiger Schrift, on the birth of Mia Jane.
