Court ‘House’
DR. GREGORY HOUSE takes the unusual and possibly extreme step of taking a young patient’s parents to court in order to get his course of treatment enforced. Alice, the patient, suffers from pancreatitis. Her parents, who are divorced, bicker over what’s best for Alice and won’t let House bully them into making a decision. When Alice’s health deteriorates, House is forced to take her parents to court. In a big surprise, the judge awards guardianship of Alice to Dr. Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein). Meanwhile, House’s reduced access to Vicodin is beginning to take its toll and he hits Cuddy up for more of the medication.
