Fashion bulletin from Milan: Delicate stilettos are getting the boot next fall.

Thigh-skimming boots were all over the Milan runways last week, at Marni, Fendi, Max Mara, Gai Mattiolo and Gucci, where designer Tom Ford paired them with slinky satin pencil skirts.

The boots got a raunchier display at Roberto Cavalli and Sportmax, where they were paired with the teensiest of miniskirts.
