Here’s a photo of a toned-down Ivana Trump as she appears in next month’s Marie Claire, after a makeover by her daughter, Ivanka (right).

Ivana put aside her Thierry Mugler, Christian Dior and Oscar de la Renta suits for a Ralph Lauren basic black silk blouse and slim-cut pants. At Ivanka’s behest, mom’s famously stiff up-do was mussed into a Courtney Love shag.

It wasn’t easy to achieve the “very, very simple” look model Ivanka was after: The erstwhile Mrs. Trump hates sneakers and chunky heels, won’t wear brown or beige, and prefers not to cover up too much – especially her “to die for” legs. And natural makeup is definitely not for her.

How’s the new look? “Beautiful,” Ivanka proclaims.
