As if Al Gore hasn’t already alienated and angered every left, right and middle-leaning American.
Gore, who sold his floundering Current TV network to Al Jazeera, is now being sued for allegedly cheating the man who brought him the idea in the first place.
Television consultant John Terenzio, who created the English-language version of China Central Television claims that, last July, he brought the proposal to sell Current to Al-Jazeera to Richard Blum — a Current TV board member and husband of California Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
Terenzio made a full PowerPoint presentation and laid out the plan, he claims.
The consultant says Gore at first rejected the idea.
But when the deal was done in January to the tune of $500 million — without Terenzio’s knowledge — the consultant was stiffed his 10 percent for laying out the idea, according to the suit.
The Emir of Qatar is Al Jazeera’s main backer.
