A FRUITFUL ‘FRINGE’
Perhaps it’s the whiff of success following “Urinetown.”
This year’s New York International Fringe Festival has racked up more than $150,000 in advance sales – nearly five times more than last year.
The sixth annual event features shows like “All American Boy” (a tongue-in-cheek musical about a boy band), “Matt & Ben” (as in Damon and Affleck, played by two women) and a bouncy musical revue, “The Joys of Sex.”
The festival runs through Aug. 25. For dates and venues, visit http://www.fringenyc.org.
