AL Pacino is dying to play Dr. Jack Kevorkian.
The famed actor is set to play the right-to-die doctor in an HBO movie biography that could start shooting later this year.
Kevorkian went to prison in 1999 as a result of his involvement in an assisted suicide that was videotaped and later shown on “60 Minutes.” He served eight years.
“Dr. Death,” as he was dubbed, reportedly has a hand in the movie.
Pacino hasn’t done a TV show since “Angels in America,” in 2003, also for HBO.
