Ed Asner’s heading to Hawaii — again.

The Emmy-winning actor has turned his 1975 guest starring role on the original “Hawaii Five-0” into a recurring spot on the CBS reboot, according to industry gossip site deadline.com.

Thirty-six years after Asner played August March, a world class smuggler, he’s reprising the role — now, he’ll be a reformed man after serving 30 years in the joint on a murder rap.

The new Five-O team will ask for his help on a smuggling case.

Footage from Asner’s original appearance on the show will be seen during the upcoming “Five-0” episode, due to air this spring.
