HERE are some of the hot films at this year’s Sundance Film Festival:
* “Adventureland” – Greg Mottola’s follow-up to “Superbad,” set in a Long Island amusement park in 1987.
* “Big Fan” – Patton Oswalt as the ultimate New York Giants fan, who gets beaten up by his favorite player.
* “The September Issue” – Documentary focuses on embattled Vogue editor Anna Wintour and her staff laboring for nine months on the massive September 2007 issue.
* “Brooklyn’s Finest” – Cops Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke and Don Cheadle star under the direction of Antoine Fuqua (“Training Day”).
* “I Love You Phillip Morris” – Jim Carrey in the true story of a married con artist who falls in love with his prison cellmate (Ewan McGregor).
* “In the Loop” – Scathing British satire of international politics with an ensemble cast including James Gandolfini.
* “The Informers” – Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Winona Ryder and Mickey Rourke star in an adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ ’80s-set novel.
* “Rudo y Cursi” – “Y Tu Mama Tambien” stars Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal reunite as rival soccer stars in Mexico.
* “Spread” – Ashton Kutcher as a Los Angeles gigolo.
* “Shrink” – Kevin Spacey as a troubled celebrity psychiatrist in LA.
* “Brief Interviews With Hideous Men” – John Krasinski (“The Office”) makes his debut with the first adaptation of a novel by the late David Foster Wallace.
