WHILE a man-goat love affair seems tough to believe, it’s happened before.
Academics have traced human-animal intimacy as far back as 520 B.C., where a Greek vase of the time was etched with a scene giving new meaning to the phrase “stag party.”
In the 1940s, when Alfred Kinsey interviewed 20,000 Americans about their sexual preferences, 8 percent of the men and 3 percent of the women he surveyed ‘fessed up to having sex with animals.
That figure grew to 50 percent in some rural areas – presumably, where girls were few and sheep were plenty.
Bestiality is enough of a threat that it’s illegal in at least 24 states.
Animal-rights activists have said bestiality is deservedly taboo, mostly because animals can’t say no.
